Navigator Strategy

Website Terms

Navigator Strategy | Effective date October 2, 2026

About these terms

These Website Terms apply to navigatorstrategy.com and its educational content, forms, assessments, and linked resources. Navigator Strategy is the business operated by Phil Hering in Seattle, Washington. Please review these Terms when using the website. Any paid engagement, enrollment, specialist service, or provider relationship requires its own applicable agreement. These Terms do not replace that agreement or create a purchase obligation.

Our role and educational purpose

Navigator Strategy helps business owners and leaders understand concerns involving payroll, HR, workforce administration, employee benefits, retention, compliance, and business systems. We ask questions, explain general strategies, and help connect suitable resources or specialists when a closer review makes sense.

Website content, articles, checklists, videos, and assessment results are general educational information. They are not individualized legal, tax, insurance, medical, HR compliance, investment, or financial advice. A Second Look identifies topics worth discussing; it is not a formal audit, professional diagnosis, certification, or determination of legal compliance.

Consult the appropriately qualified professional before acting on a legal, tax, insurance, medical, or financial matter. A form submission or introductory conversation does not establish an attorney-client, medical-provider, fiduciary, insurance, or other regulated professional relationship through this website.

Results and product information

No savings, tax treatment, coverage, cost reduction, additional take-home pay, retention improvement, compliance result, or business or health outcome is guaranteed. Availability, suitability, pricing, eligibility, and potential results depend on facts, documentation, location, underwriting where applicable, plan terms, implementation, and other circumstances.

An example, estimate, interactive presentation, or general explanation is not a binding quote or an offer of coverage. A personalized proposal must be based on an appropriate review. The relevant provider’s current contract, policy, plan documents, disclosures, and exclusions govern its services. Do not cancel or change existing coverage based only on website content. A supplemental or limited benefit should not be assumed to replace comprehensive major medical coverage.

Assessments and appointments

The Quick and Comprehensive Second Look paths are voluntary and create no obligation to purchase or proceed. Provide accurate information and disclose only what you are authorized to share. We may follow up about your request in accordance with the Privacy Policy and your communication choices.

Submitting an assessment or contact form does not automatically book an appointment. A call is booked when the scheduling service confirms it or when we agree on a time directly. Phil’s introduction is generally 30 minutes; a later specialist conversation may differ in length and purpose. You may reschedule, cancel, or decline a proposed next step.

Specialists and compensation

Specialists and product or service providers are responsible for their own advice, proposals, qualifications, contracts, performance, and data handling. An introduction does not create a guarantee by Navigator Strategy about that provider or its results. You decide whether to work with a provider.

Navigator Strategy receives commissions from specialist partners. Ask Phil about the compensation connected with an option you are considering. We will explain the relevant compensation relationship before you decide whether to proceed. Any fee payable directly to Navigator Strategy will be disclosed and agreed separately.

Privacy and sensitive records

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. Do not upload or send sensitive payroll, employee, tax, medical, account, or financial records through public website forms, assessment answers, ordinary email, or scheduling notes. If a later review needs records, first confirm the recipient, purpose, required information, and secure submission method. Do not disclose another person’s information without appropriate authority.

Optional text messages

Our automated website follow-up currently uses email. The following messaging terms apply only if Navigator Strategy offers a text-message program in the future and you separately opt in. Messages may include responses to your inquiry, scheduling information, reminders, or other categories expressly described at opt-in. Marketing messages require the appropriate separate permission. Consent is not a condition of purchase; providing a phone number or accepting these Terms alone does not enroll you.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. After opting out, you may receive a confirmation of the opt-out, and you will not receive further messages in that program unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for assistance or contact phil@navigatorstrategy.com or (847) 807-9697. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Messages are not an emergency or time-critical service. Please tell us if you change the mobile number associated with your consent.

Website content and acceptable use

Navigator Strategy or the relevant rights holder owns the website content and branding. You may read, download, and share our publicly offered resources for ordinary personal or internal business use, keeping attribution and notices intact. Do not sell, rebrand, or imply endorsement of your business using our content without permission. Rights granted by law remain unaffected.

Do not use the website to submit false or unauthorized information, impersonate others, send spam or malicious code, access restricted systems, or interfere with the site or other visitors. We may restrict misuse to protect the website and its users.

The website includes links and interactive content provided by other organizations, including scheduling services and educational overviews. Their availability, content, and terms may change. Review the provider’s current information and privacy notice before using its services. A link does not make that organization part of Navigator Strategy.

MissingMoney.com is a separate free personal unclaimed-property resource. Navigator Strategy is not affiliated with MissingMoney.com, does not receive compensation for sharing that resource, and does not manage claims submitted through it. It is separate from business fund recovery guidance.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep the website useful and accurate, but information may become outdated or contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided as available, without warranties of uninterrupted access, error-free content, or fitness for a particular purpose. Tell us if something appears incorrect or inaccessible.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Navigator Strategy is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this educational website. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or restricts a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. These Terms do not limit obligations under a separate written service agreement.

Changes and applicable law

We may update these Terms by posting a new version and date. Changes apply prospectively and do not change an existing signed agreement without the agreement required for that change. Washington law governs these Website Terms to the extent permitted by law, without displacing mandatory protections that apply to you elsewhere. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law.
